Let's start the day with something that'll keep you energized for the entire day. I know, few would just skip their first meal of the day, as they would be running late; while few foodies would prefer eating something heavy like burger. But what if I say that we have some healthy breakfast ideas which are quick to prepare? Well, check these out.

Muga Dali Usli

Muga dali usli is very dear to most of the Konkanis. Some people eat it as a breakfast and some as a side dish. And mostly known as a prasad of Ramnavami festival. However you eat it, this is a very tasty and filling dish with or without any combination.

Masala dosa

Masaledose is a variation of the popular south India food dosa, which has its origins in Tuluva Mangalorean cuisine of Karnataka. The most popular version is the masala dosa, with a filling of the potato masala.

Idli

Idli occurs in the Kannada writing called vaddaradhane by shivakotiacharya. Idli is made by steaming a batter consisting of fermented black lentils and rice. Idli or idly are a type of savoury rice cake, originating from the Indian subcontinent, popular as breakfast foods in Southern India and among Tamils in Sri Lanka.

Soft Vada

South Indian fritter made from urad dal (black lentil). It is usually made in a donut shape, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. Vada is a category of savoury fried snacks from India. Different types of vadas can be described variously as fritters, cutlets, doughnuts, or dumplings. Alternative names for this food include wada, vade, vadai, wadeh and bara.
